News & Editorial SEO Summit 2025: Last Chance for Early Bird Tickets!
The fifth edition of our online virtual event dedicated to SEO for news and publishing will feature a stellar cast of speakers and panellists in 14 sessions across two days.
Since we started the News and Editorial SEO Summit back in 2021, my co-founder John Shehata and I have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support from the SEO and publishing communities.
We set out to create a small online event for a specific niche within SEO, featuring the type of content that we felt was lacking from mainstream SEO conferences.
That very first ‘small online event’ turned into a 500+ attendee two-day live conference with some of the brightest minds in SEO and publishing presenting and attending.
Three more summits have taken place since then, each edition getting better and more in-depth, with more amazing speakers and superb talks, and hundreds of people attending online from all over the world.
We’re now preparing for the fifth edition of our online event dedicated to SEO and audience growth for news and publishing, which will take place on Tuesday 21 & Wednesday 22 October 2025.
The speaking roster is nearly complete, and so far we’ve confirmed the following speakers and panellists (in alphabetical order):
Nicola Agius (Reach)
James Carson (Agentic)
Harry Clarkson-Bennett (Telegraph)
Erin Hallstrom (Endeavor)
Marie Haynes (MHC)
Rachel Heseltine (Paramount)
Edward Hyatt (Wall Street Journal)
Kevin Indig (Growth Consultant)
Dixon Jones (Waikay)
Christine Liang (New York Times)
Lily Ray (Amsive)
Barry Schwartz (Rusty Brick)
Maddie Shepherd (CBS)
Marshall Simmonds (Define Media)
Carly Steven (MailOnline)
Jessie Willms (The Guardian)
With myself and John also giving a talk each, and a keynote from Michael King. And we’re not quite done yet, still a small number of speakers to be confirmed!
This year, the topics our speakers will cover include Google Discover, SEO for B2B publishers, paywalls and SEO, entity optimisation, technical SEO & LLMs, algorithm updates, SEO beyond the click, site reputation abuse & affiliate content, optimising for multimedia, and several sessions on AI and SEO - both in Google’s results and other AI platforms - and what it means for the future of search and publishing.
We’ll also have three panel sessions: An ‘Ask the SEOs' panel where all attendees can put forth their questions live to the speakers, a ‘Careers’ panel focused on the various and highly interesting career journeys of the panellists, and a ‘Future of SEO’ panel where we’ll look forward at short term and long term challenges coming our way.
Altogether NESS 2025 will feature 14 sessions across two days. Plus, a ticket also gives you permanent access to all the session recordings to watch back at your convenience. Incredible value for $299 USD, if you ask me.
Moreso because of our Early Bird offer, where you get 25% off this price when you use the ‘EarlyBird’ code at checkout.
This offer is only valid until the end of June, so you only have one week left to make use of this discount! Get your early bird ticket to the 2025 News and Editorial SEO Summit today on NewsSEO.io.
